There is nothing worse than a move day that is so hectic that you're not sure if you'll have enough supplies on hand, especially when moving from one house to another. Fortunately, with the right preparations, you can have enough supplies on hand to make the move go smoothly, while packing your bags accordingly.

The first and most important item in a quick supply list for a move is food. Your food supply will include foods such as pasta, rice, pasta sauce, cereal, bread, candy and instant oatmeal. You don't need all of these items right away on your move day, but having a few of them will make life much easier.

You may need some protein bars and energy bars to help with the energy you lose from the move, but don't waste these bars. You can have protein bars or energy bars on hand to replace some of these items.

There are some foods that are not good for packing but should be included in your list of supplies. These foods should be purchased and used on a moment's notice if you are in a rush. These foods include nuts, seeds, fruits and vegetables.

You also need to have some small items such as toothpaste, toothbrush, comb, and other grooming supplies, especially if you are going to be away from your home for a period of time. You will need these items to get your hair and nails looking their best.

In addition, you should also have a few toiletries on hand such as soap, shampoo, lotion, body lotion, shaving cream and other similar items. You may have to purchase some of these items at a specialty store if you don't have them in your regular bathroom supplies.

You should also have a few toiletries for your car such as seat covers, upholstery wash, polish, window decals and other car accessories. and window treatments. Car seat covers will protect your seats from dirt and grime, while window treatments protect your windows from scratches. These will also help protect your car from the sun and rain.

If you have an instant aid box in your home, you should have an extra supply of all of these items. Just make sure that you pack them up and put them in your box before you leave. If you can't bring an instant aid box with you, just have one of the supplies that you can use when you are at work, such as a toothbrush or comb, and your other supplies that you use while you are at home. This way, you'll have the toothpaste and lotion at hand and will have it ready to go when you need it.

When you are on your move day, you should also have some toiletries in your car for you and your passengers if you will be driving around. You should also be prepared for the weather and have some items such as a spare change of clothing, a pair of flip flops and other items.

An extra item you should also have on hand is a small container of bubble bath, shampoo, body wash and lotion. Some people like to use this for their bath while others use it to keep their hair and nails looking their best.

If you don't have any of these items, you should purchase them once you arrive at your new home. and then purchase some of the items on your list as you go. You will be surprised by the convenience that they will give you.

Having some of these items on hand will help to make your move easier on you. Make sure you have some extra toiletries, too, because you will need them on your move day.
